Wishing You The Blessings Of The Season

Although our blog is still lingering on Vancouver Island, we’re pausing for a moment in the present to wish you a joyous holiday season.

The past few weeks we’ve traveled from the Pacific Northwest, down the coast of California, to our current location of West Texas. One of the fun things about traveling at this time of year is seeing the different holiday celebrations and decorations along the way. In the spirit of the season, we’ve put together a little holiday postcard for you. We hope you enjoy it!

Holiday lights in our hometown of Ashland, Oregon

John Steinbeck and other former residents on the waterfront in Monterey, California

A chihuahua princess holiday ornament in Carmel, California

A tumbleweed snowman, Arizona style, at Tohono Chul Botanical Garden in Tucson

Holiday dining at the Faraway Ranch (too bad the food was plastic)

Walking the labyrinth on Solstice Eve at Rockhound State Park in Deming, New Mexico

Love and light this holiday season…had a tumbleweed tree one year but I like the snowman! Thinking how blessed we are to have close friends, homes and the ability and opportunity to travel and experience life in all its flavors! Stay healthy and open to the wonder! So enjoy your glimpses into life on the road! Thinking of quilts to come and bags and more wild denium jackets Frieda style! Vaya con Dios mi amiga y amigo!

We lucked out finding the labyrinth on Solstice Eve — it was a perfect moment, at sunset with the Sandhill Cranes flying overhead! Wishing you both good health and wonderful adventures in the coming year!
